Bayer Schering Pharma (formerly Schering, today – Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals) is a well-known German concern focused on the development and manufacture of medicines. The company’s goal is to produce high-quality, but affordable, medicines and facial care products. In the assortment of the brand, even hormonal products are detected, like anabolic-androgenic steroids (which are informally widely used as sports dope): from tableted injection to testosterone in injections (originally developed for medical purposes).
Bayer Schering Pharma AG was founded in 1851 by German businessman Ernest Schering. Originally called “Schering AG” and was a research, production, pharmacy and warehouse network for pharmaceuticals. Subsequently, in 2006, the company was bought by the pharmaceutical giant Bayer AG, receiving its canonical name.
Nowadays Bayer Schering Pharma AG officially acts as “Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals”. Completely renamed in 2011th year.
Before the acquisition, Bayer Schering Pharma (Germany) was considered one of the leaders of the pharmaceutical market, and after – only developed. For 2006, it could boast of about 26,000 employees, and today this figure exceeds ≈ 40,000. Its net profit in 2000-2006 was billions of €. The company supplies pharmaceuticals to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and, of course, America, many of which have their own representative offices.

This is not surprising, because its drugs are manufactured in accordance with international quality standards – GMP, and approved for human use according to the norms of the FDA.
